Directed the development of an iPad app that allowed safety officers to record results of inspections in the field even when disconnected from the network.  The initial application was a mobile app that was wildly popular with safety officers and that led to significant productivity gains. This was made possible by negotiating an arrangement with our key application vendor to co-develop APIs that allowed our organization to develop fully integrated custom solutions that better addressed the needs of our internal users and external clients.
